VOTING ON THIS PARTICULAR PRIZE HAS NOW CLOSED.

That’s it folks, the shows over, the prizes are history (and so’s this blinkin’ contest, thank God!) no more votes please, I don’t need them now anyway…

Oh yes, and thank you!  🙂

——————————————————————————————————————————–

Want to go to Paris next week for the Rock En Seine festival?

Course you do.  All you have to do is vote for me in the Flightster blog contest. Simples, but I’ll talk you through it anyway cos I’m nice like that.

What’s on offer

  1. A free return trip from London to Paris on Eurostar. Leaving 27 August 8.55am from St Pancras, Returning 30 August 16.13 from Gare du Nord
  2. Free ticket to 3 day festival music festival Rock en Seine, camping ticket.

How to enter

  1. Vote for Jools Stone on the Flightster blog today by 4pm
  2. Contact me to tell me you’ve voted by leaving a comment here asap (I will be checking regularly) with your full name to confirm the booking
  3. That’s it, no pestering your friends to ‘like’ your entry, just a good old fashioned prize draw

What’s not included

  1. Accomodation.  If you can’t/won’t camp you’ll need to find and pay for a room yourself. Maybe check out Hostelbookers or Hostelword for cheap sleeps.
  2. Travel to and from London St Pancras
  3. A giant pulsating kumquat (bring your own)

Why am I doing this?

  1. I won Eurostar’s competition on facebook
  2. My lovely fiance is skint and can’t make it
  3. My real life pals are rubbish
  4. I really want to win this blogging contest!
  5. Cos I’m nice like that

The rules of the game

The first 6 are Euorstar’s conditions so they’re non-negotiable.  I take no responsibility for any disappointment if you don’t read this properly! The other 2 are mine.

  1. You must be 18 or over
  2. You must not be an employee of Eurostar
  3. Train times  are fixed
  4. You need to arrive 30 mins prior to departure to check in
  5. Both passengers must arrive together
  6. There is no cash alternative
  7. If you’ve already voted for me it won’t accept another vote from the same computer (hint)
  8. We meet in a public place, like the station concourse

Do we have to hang out?

Nope, but you do have to check in with me, as per Eurostar’s rules above.  But once you’re on the train you can do your own thing or we could get a coffee if Gard de Nord if you like, so long as you’re not too strange.

Any questions? Just drop me a line and happy voting!

I voted; Can I win a portable prize, plz? I live in Canada and have no passport. Actually, if you could do the paperwork for my passport, that’d be worth more than an Orient Express pass!

PS you’re in the lead by 2.5% over the second person.
